| The chessboard is enveloped by a rosewood border and maple frame. The chessboard squares are made of maple, walnut, and mahogany with one rosewood diamond shape. The walnut base is finished in dark walnut Danish oil while the top, floating 1/2" above the base, is finished with linseed oil and shellac. |
